I did a little research before I drew this. In the original myth Pandora has a jar. I wanted to draw a box so I did. Also if you can't tell I like drawing hair. It is a fun design element.
You've used the coloured pencils with grace and sophistication. I like the expression on her face. She looks quite indifferent and oblivious of what may come out from her opening the box.
I love this work!! you have a very interesting blog and i´m sure more great works will come in future!! So you are form Utah? i have a friend who is gonna visit it in a couple of month!!
This is a fantastic piece if you are doing the open contest I will defiantly be voting for you. Keep up the good work.

Tell her to close the box, she is not aware of what is going to come out, look at her face, at peace, like an angel, go, run, tell her!
